This popular trio with guest Chris Moore on viola will present chamber pieces from Mozart and Haydn to modern works by Brett Dean and Lili Boulanger. Seraphim has delighted audiences for 28 years. Helen Ayres, Anna Goldsworthy and Tim Nankervis present inspired and innovative programs which always delight.

Robert Macfarlane

with Nicholas Young

Winterreise was composed at the end of Schubert’s short life and in 24 songs to the texts of Wilhelm Müller, the composer’s despair and agony are laid bare. This remarkable cycle sung by tenor Robert Macfarlane will be interspersed with Schubert Impromptus.

Alexander Gadjiev

Alexander won the 2021 Sydney International Piano Competition and was also awarded second place in the recent Chopin Competition in Warsaw. GCMS is thrilled to have this exciting young pianist present a classic recital of Chopin and Schumann.
